After trying to breastfeed my baby girl for 5 1/2 weeks with issues, I began pooling all the resources I could find. That’s when I went back to all the paperwork from my hospital discharge and I found the site for Gulf Coast Breastfeeding Center. I am so glad I called. I left my appointment feeling empowered and equipped for the rest of my breastfeeding journey. These ladies are exceptional. I felt welcomed and they listened. They encouraged me and gave me kudos for the research I had done and the things I was doing correctly. They helped me in my problem areas. They were open and honest. The 1-hour and 20-minute drive was more than worth it.
