Meet Maranda Nybo: A Lifelong Champion for Moms and Babies
Maranda Nybo, IBCLC, RLC, CBE, Doula, has been a trusted advocate in the birth and breastfeeding community for over 24 years. She began her journey as a La Leche League Leader and later became a certified doula and lactation counselor.
Her dedication led her to become an IBCLC in 2011, making history as the first non-RN IBCLC hired at Gulfport Memorial. For eight years, she supported moms and babies, including those in the NICU, with personalized care.
In 2021, Maranda joined Gulf Coast Breastfeeding Center (GCBC) and became its proud owner in 2023 after Stephanie Gable’s retirement. She continues GCBC’s mission to provide compassionate, judgment-free support to mothers.
Maranda offers childbirth, breastfeeding, and parenting classes, helping moms achieve their goals with confidence. Her commitment is to empower every mother with tailored, evidence-based care.

Morgan has always been passionate about women’s health and making a real difference in moms’ lives. After her own journey through pregnancy, birth, and breastfeeding, she joined Gulf Coast Breastfeeding Center in January 2024 to help other moms feel supported and cared for. Whether it’s managing the day-to-day or cheering you on from behind the scenes, Morgan’s here to make sure every family gets the guidance they need.

After overcoming her own challenges as a mom of two, she was inspired to support other mothers navigating similar struggles. Tyra’s experience and dedication shine through in everything she does, from offering encouragement to sharing practical insights. She’s here to make sure every mom feels seen, supported, and empowered on their journey.

Gulf Coast Breastfeeding Center was founded by Stephanie Gable, RN, IBCLC (pictured below), after hearing from mothers who desired a community-based breastfeeding service without having to return to the hospital. GCBC offers a private, calm, and clean environment tailored to meet each mother's individual breastfeeding goals.
Our services are customized to the unique needs of every mother and baby. Our primary mission is to support, protect, advocate, and educate women about the benefits of human milk for all babies.
